How I handle your information.
Last updated: October 2026
This is a small, personal service, so this page is short and plain. It explains what I collect when you get in touch, and what I do with it.
Who I am
This site is run by Tashibu, an individual based in Tokyo. You can reach me at hello@tashibujapan.com.
What I collect
Only what you choose to send through the inquiry form or by email:
- Your name and email address
- Your travel dates and number of guests
- What you’d like to experience, and anything else you tell me (for example allergies, dietary needs, or children joining)
How I use it
To reply to you, to plan your experience, and to arrange the day with you. I don’t use it for anything else, and I don’t send marketing emails.
Who else sees it
I don’t sell or share your information. Your message passes through the tools that deliver it to me — the inquiry form service and my email provider — which may store it on servers outside Japan. If payment is needed, it is handled through a payment service, and I never see or store your card details.
How long I keep it
For as long as it’s needed to arrange your experience and answer follow-up questions. After that I delete it, or earlier if you ask.
Your choices
You can ask me at any time to show you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email me and I’ll take care of it.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn’t use cookies or analytics of its own. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when a page loads.
Photos and words from guests
The photos and comments in the Voice section are shared with the guests’ permission.
