Travel like a local.
Discover the real Japan.
I take you to the places locals actually go. No fixed tourist checklist. Just good places, good food, and the moments in between.

THE LITTLE MOMENTS MAKE THE DAY.
Explore the Experience →Different places, different people, but the same spirit — real connections and unforgettable moments. Here’s what a few guests had to say.

“Tashibu took us to a yakiniku spot that blew us away — the kind of quality you only get from a local’s recommendation.”

“A tiny izakaya off the main street — we just ate, laughed, and felt like locals for a night.”

“An old neighborhood bathhouse the tourists never find — walking in with Tashibu, it felt completely natural.”

“A hideaway seafood spot with incredible sake — the kind of place only a local would know to book.”

“We heard there was a match on and just went. One of the best nights of the whole trip.”

“A few hours out of the city, to a waterfall most visitors never even hear about.”

“Tashibu took me to a tiny hideaway jazz bar — real music, a warm room, and a night I didn’t want to end.”

I work a regular job in Tokyo during the week. On weekends — and some weeknights — I take a small number of travelers around, because I know what it’s like abroad to have no idea where the locals actually go.
Every time I’ve traveled abroad myself, the hardest thing to find was never the famous view — it was the version of a city that wasn’t dressed up for visitors. So that’s what I try to show people here: the places that have been open longer than I’ve been alive, the owners who’ve watched the neighborhood change around them, the days that go somewhere nobody planned.
No script, no set route. Just a conversation about what you’re into.
Tell me when you’re visiting, your group size, and what kind of day or evening sounds good — I’ll build something around it.
